"I have been burnt by so many repairmen throughout the years. I mean, I even fear bringing painters into the house because I'm afraid they'll drip paint everywhere. It's gotten to the point, where I'd rather do things myself, rather then clean up somebody else's mess. Mahoney Plumbing, Inc. has restored my faith in the trades. They do top-notch work. They have done various projects for us over the years. They've installed a new half bath and an AC unit, done sewer work, minor plumbing like routing out drains and faucet work and I have even depended on them to supervise other plumbers!
They are very responsive to all of my questions. They are fast and informative. From the time I phoned them to when they delivered a detailed quote proposal, only thirty hours had gone by, and it was professionally done too. They never try to slip additional costs or jobs into their estimates either, which I have noticed happens a lot with other companies in the small print of the contracts. Mahoney is a very honorable company, and that reflects in every aspect of the jobs they do.
I think their tone is set by management. The entire team is friendly, knowledgeable, thoughtful, smart, honest, sharp and so very honorable which is especially hard to find in today's world. I trust them and have always been very pleased with them. Every guy they've sent over, I've been happy to have in my home. These are wonderful and trustworthy people.
I know if I were to have a problem with anything, they'll be there to fix it immediately. They are in and out and any problem they encounter. Other companies might shy away or just put a bandage on things, not Mahoney! They take care of it and tackle it right then and there. You get what you want and need from Mahoney."

I think I mentioned to you that I found you when I needed a new hot water heater, and I was so impressed with the service I got (I had the new hot water heater as well as some new faucets installed) that I wanted to make sure I talked to you before doing the new furnace and air conditioner. One of the things I liked best was that you (and your plumbing colleagues) were really honest with us about what sorts of equipment (be it the hot water heater or the HVAC stuff) we *could* buy, and then what you thought was best for our home and our lifestyle. My husband and I are fairly new homeowners, and we have not had to make these kinds of decisions before, so it was really helpful to have that professional advice (in terms we could understand!). The actual installation/removal of the old equipment went very well for us - you and your crew were fantastic! I remember that there were a few issues with putting in the new hot water heater since the new model was bigger than the old one we had and there was some new piping that you had to build for us. It was so great to have people who not only understood what the problem was, but they were able to fix it right there! Everyone I've worked with from Mahoney has been very friendly and polite and clearly knew his/her stuff. They all treated me and our home with respect (kept clean work areas, showed up when they said they would, things like that). We even called you guys in on New Year's Day to replace our sump pump (it died!). The emergency service was incredible - the gentleman was at our house within a few hours of our call and had a new sump pump already in his truck for us. He even stayed extra time to do a dye test and make sure that we weren't draining the pumped-out water right back into our basement."

"Mahoney Plumbing, Inc. is wonderful, I'd give them all 10+'s if I could! About six years ago, I was having two of my bathrooms remodeled and my contractor brought Mahoney Plumbing in for the job. Since that time, I've used them constantly over the years. I've had them replace my water heater, install and remove different pipes among other things, all to my complete satisfaction.
Customers come first with Mahoney Plumbing. I always feel treated like family. First of all, when you call, most likely you'll get one of the owners answering the phones and they are so courteous and calming over the phone. I had an emergency, and I think it was even after their hours when I called them. They were so nice over the phone and kept assuring me that "we'll take care of it" and for me not to worry! Then they told me that they wouldn't be there tomorrow, but they'd come over right away, which they did! They really came to my rescue and came out like a flash, even though it was after hours!
The technicians are terrific. They are reliable, professional and I am comfortable knowing that they'll get things done efficiently. Also, no question is too small or too silly to ask. They take time to explain things to you and to suggest things, and they never over-sell, I don't feel pressured by them. Plus, they always clean up better than when they first got there.
I am so very fortunate that my contractor contracted with them six years ago. From now until I no longer own this house, they'll be my plumbers!"
